Back in Motion is not eligible to bill under OHIP. Most of our patients have coverage under an extended health care plan through their employer. Please note that some plans do not cover the whole amount and the patient is responsible to pay for the balance on the account. As well, some plans are limited in the amount of yearly coverage provided. Ontario Physiotherapy Guidelines stipulate that clinics are not allowed to reduce rates or eliminate deductibles to accommodate various insurance plans and could be subject to discipline if such practices are carried out. If you are unsure of your coverage please ask at reception or contact your benefits department at your place of employment.
Back in Motion office staff will submit invoices to insurance carriers on behalf of our patients provided the insurance company will pay us directly. For all other plans the patient is invoiced directly and asked to submit to their carrier.
