Peter graduated from McMaster University 's physiotherapy program in 1996. Following graduation he accepted a position at a community hospital in Detroit , Michigan where he worked in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation. In 1998, he moved back to Sault Ste. Marie and accepted a position in outpatient orthopedics at the Group Health Centre. This provided him the opportunity to enhance his skills in both sports and orthopedic injuries. Peter also worked at the Industrial Rehabilitation Program where he treated clients with work and motor vehicle related injuries. In 2003, Peter began working at Back In Motion Physiotherapy where he continues to provide physiotherapy treatment for orthopedic, sports injuries, WSIB,

MVA, and vertigo. Peter has also shown a special interest in spinal cord rehabilitation. Peter is a candidate for certification as a Functional Capacity Evaluator through the Matheson Group and is in the process of completing the intermediate examinations to become a Resident of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists.

Peter is a volunteer athletic therapist for the Saint Basil's Senior Football team and is also a volunteer presenter with the Focus Coalition Group which has established a PARTY Program in order to create awareness amongst local youth about the dangers associated with alcohol abuse.
